Fame for Finzi…another hat-trick

Gerald Finzi has once again made it into the ClassicFm Hall of Fame with three pieces – the Clarinet Concerto (280) the Five Bagatelles (184), and the Eclogue (120).

Looking forward to the spring

March saw the performance of the Ode for St Cecilia at Exeter School, and in May Finzi’s work is featured on both sides of the Atlantic, with Lo the Full, Final Sacrifice in New York, My Spirit Sang All Day in Minnesota, the Eclogue in Glasgow, two performances at the English Music Festival in Dorchester,
