Finzi at Rochester Cathedral The Gravesham Choral Society is giving a performance of Finzi's Ode for St Cecilia in its concert of 20th century English music on April 28.The programme also includes Elgar's The Music Makers and the orchestra will perform the same composer's Enigma Variations. Choir member June Woollett told geraldfinzi.com: "It's a lovely programme, and a fantastic venue too. It is the first time I have sung any of Finzi's work and I'm finding it challenging, but beautiful." The concert is in Rochester Cathedral and starts at 7.30pm.
