Fond memories of dad
We've had some Finzi fan mail! This comes from Shan Lawrence:
"Just a note to say how much my son and I enjoyed browsing your website. My late father John Denman recorded the Clarinet Concerto many years ago. In fact, this recording was re-released last year, along with the cello concerto played by Yo Yo Ma.
My son took up the clarinet a couple of years ago, and recently played "Carol" for his Grade III piece. It rapidly became the only tune being hummed around our house! Dad recorded the Five Bagatelles also, and they are just divine! Best of luck with your website."
