Finzi climbs chart
A recording of Finzi's Dies Natalis has made its mark on the charts compiled by UK classical radio station Classic FM.
During April the recording on the budget Naxos label (catalogue number 8570417) reached number 22.
The recording features the acclaimed Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, conducted by David Hill, and pairs the main work with the Two Sonnets and Farewell To Arms, featuring tenor James Gilchrist.
